In lab renovation work bunch of activities are there for work. First stage of work is to list down the things which are useful in old laboratory and which are completely damage for its removal.
1. Roofing – In old days cement asbestos sheet use is very common. If that sheets are found damage then need to remove the same safely. New Roofing can be done with GI sheet or PVC sheet material. PVC sheet roofing is most preferable as it looks beautiful. It is easy to cut and handle at site. Installation of the sheet takes less time. It is durable, tough, long run product and experts are recommended this roofing.
2. MS Fabrication work – MS Mesh fixing for partition of two rooms is old practice in laboratories. As this is old structure complete removal is best option when we are going to renovate the lab. This old material sale is possible. In case of Doors and windows if repair possible then GI plain sheet and Mesh is available in market we can repair the doors and windows with new material.
3. Cement board Partition – Cement board partition work can be possible for inner side partitions. Framing is being done at first stage. Then one side cement board installation work carried out. After woollen insulation work another side cement board fixation is carried out. With the help for screws the entire structure to be made stable. Wall tile fixing is also possible on the surface of cement board. It is quick and durable hence it is highly preferable in market.
4. Gypsum & Plaster work – Damaged portion of lab rooms repair is being done with plaster work and for smooth surface Gypsum punning will be done
5. Door & Window work – In case we found complete damage of MS Doors we can replace it with proper wooden doors and we can place vision panel fixing in the door. Sliding window work can be done as per necessity.
6. Flooring work – For flooring work we can do IPS work on old damaged PCC with thickness of 50 mm. It will give smooth finish surface to flooring. After IPS flooring we can do Floor tile work or Vynile flooring work on it.
7. Painting – After all repair and new installation work final stage of work is Painting. Internal and external paint to be done. For MS fabrication repair work we can do oil paint for its new and fresh look.
