Skating Rink

Skating rink work involves following stages,

1. VDF Flooring – Vaccume Dewatering flooring work needed vacuum dewatering pump, floater machine, Double beam screed vibrator, RMC specifiend grade material etc. This is a special technique to do the Concrete Flooring to increase the Compressive Strength, Tensile Strength, Abrasion Resistance and to minimize the Shrinkage. VDF Flooring results in High Strength, Longer Life, Better Finish and Faster Work.

Procedure:

I. Setting out line dori as per required slope

II. MS channels placement to be done at each 4 meters distance

III. Concrete pouring to be done in between the channels and spreading the same using showel or Hoe

IV. Vibrating the concrete with poker vibrater

V. Double beam screed vibrater to be used for surface vibration

VI. Lower mat and top mat to be laid on concrete and attached to vaccume pump draws surplus water if any.

VII. Hardner to be used 3-7 kg/sqm or as per requirement of the floor.

VIII. Final finishing to be achieved by using power trowel.

IX. Complete curing of the surface for minimum seven days period.

X. Groove cutting with polysulphide sealent filling upto 5mm thickness after 3 to 5 days

2. Boundary work -After Flooring preparation we can do boundary work either by solid block work or by making shuttering mould and pouring concrete in it.

3. Railing Work – Railing work is possible with MS and SS Material both material are equally preferable in the work of skating ring. As per design and shapes we can do entire work. M S Railing is economical option and if we use this material then after its installation, Painting to be done by oil paint.

4. Painting – On smooth VDF surface primer to be applied .Before starting of painting work marking to be done manually for its specified design. Two coat floor paint to VDF floor and side boundary wall is the final stage of skating rink work.
